It was a wet and chilly morning. Eastlake Eagles chose to bat. Marist Cobalt were down a few players but kicked off well with a great wicket from Jash. Jash also went on to get another wicket and a cracker LBW. The tight bowling continued with an awesome caught and bowled from Jonathan, Cameron took two wickets with two great catches - one from Jonathan and one from Flynn.

Nate displayed some excellent bowling taking a wicket and having the only maiden of the day for Cobalt. Flynn and Vivan also taking great wickets for the team. Some notable catches and run outs from Cameron, Flynn, Jonathan, Seth and Lucas.

When it was our turn to bat, Lucas Clifford played a vital role, avoiding going out and returning to the crease to push our total up by 23, which helped land him player of the match. Nate also didn't go out with an impressive 31 runs. Cameron Smith smashed out two exciting sixes adding 25 runs. It was a team effort as always, thanks to Seb for filling in and adding 8 important runs. Unfortunately we didn't get the win, congratulations to Eastlake Eagles.
