Sunday morning saw a layer of dew on the Pearce Oval and having won the toss Saint Eddys sent Marist Cobalt into bat, hoping to keep the boundaries to a minimum.

Our boys did us proud, scoring 136 runs including 10 4's and 5 batsmen having strike rates in the mid to high double digits, continuing their recent form with the bat. Only 5 wickets were taken by the opposition, Joshua Moody again helping himself to plenty of runs.

When Cobalt took to the field the pressure was on St Edmunds Blue, and they rose to the challenge. Scoring at 5.46 runs an over, our bowling came to the fore with Hamish Henry taking 2 wickets and Thomas Gates getting another, with 2 runs outs, well done Tom!

Adding to the highlights, only 14 extras were given, ending the regular season with wind in the sails, bring on the finals!
