Marist Light won the toss and elected to bowl. This was the third time Marist and Wests faced each other this season, with Marist taking both the wins. They were not planning on letting their guard down and got straight to Work!

tight bowling with wickets in the 2 nd, 3rd and 4th by Angad and Will, followed by a 3 wicket over by Evander in the 5th had Wests Fires 6/6 at the end of the 5th over. Wests attempted to hold on clawing back a semblance of a total, losing a wicket in a run out in the 13th by Harry and Ethan before Dimitri took the final wicket in the 18th over.

it was a defendable total from the Wests perspective, especially if they took wickets like Marist, but Light had plans of making the grand final. They set about the batting innings with care, but making some lovely shots and good running between the wickets. Light lost thw wickets

of Flynn and Jackson after a good spell. Dimitri and Jack continued the batting to make the runs required. Dimitri finished the game up with a perfectly timed boundry in the 12th over!
