Marist Light put in a great effort all round, especially in the field, to keep WCMCC 54 runs under the Marist Light total of 197. It was an excellent result for Marist Light wining their final game for the season in Div 1. Batting first, Marist Light kept the runs ticking over with Hugo Foley keeping the run rate going at almost a run a ball and then Jack Frawley going at more than a run a ball, putting his stamp on the game pushing the total up to a respectable 197. 

It was excellent bowling and fielding by everyone in the team. WCMCC could not get their chase going with Marist Light putting pressure on with run-outs and solid catching. Bowling was tight with excellent figures from the whole bowling attack.

A great finish to the season and the players of Marist Light should be proud of how they harnessed their abilities, backed themselves and finished strong. Marist Light have some real latent talent and can hopefully bring it again with some strong performances in the 2025/26 season for the Marist Cricket Club. Congratulations to Scott Foley for a great coaching effort bringing the talent out of the boys in the Div 1 comp.
