Marist Midnight coming into Burgmann with the oval being wet. Marist called heads and won the toss and elected to bat. With Jack and Hugh opening the batting. Getting a few runs with Jack getting a six and 2 fours. By the 3rd over we were 1/18. In a couple of overs Tom gets out and gets a career high of 7 runs and we were 3/51. Then Marist didn't lose a wicket until the last over. With Sajan getting a career high with 32 runs and Marist ended the innings with 5/182.

With the field drying up. Marist goes in to bowl with Noah and Nate bowling the first 6 overs to bring the pace attack. But they couldn't break the partnership. Sen came into the attack by bowling spin and got the only 2 wickets of the game and Burgmann ended up winning their first game all season.

Overall the team did well with the batting but we could have done better with the fielding.
