The last one-day game of the season saw Marist up against Queanbeyan, who were sitting in second place. We won the toss and elected to bat, with Lucas and Jack opening. They built a solid partnership before sadly Jack was caught. The middle order faced some tough times, losing a few wickets in not many overs, but Nate and Sajan came through to secure the runs. With only 128 on the board, Marist knew they had to bowl and field tightly.

The first wicket fell quickly, with Nate striking in the second over, followed by Noah in the next. From then on, Queanbeyan experienced a major batting collapse, losing 5 wickets in the following few overs, including a direct-hit run-out from the boundary by Seb. With Queanbeyan down to 9 wickets, Marist made sure to keep up the pressure. In the 12th over, Queanbeyan tried to run a double but were run out by Lucas. Marist won the game, bowling Queanbeyan out for just 44 runs!

Everyone performed great, but the game was highlighted by an all-around performance from Nate. This victory secured Marist's top spot on the ladder and their place in the finals!
