Marist faced Queanbeyan in a high-stakes semi-final, the outcome of which would determine who advanced to the grand final. Marist won the toss and opted to bat. Our openers, Lucas and Jack, laid a solid foundation before Lucas was caught. Jack continued aggressively, scoring a flurry of boundaries before he too was caught. Despite a slow start, Seb found his rhythm and ended his innings with an important 30 not out. Noah joined in and played confidently throughout his innings, finishing with a well-earned 32 not out. The lower order maintained the runs, bringing our total to a good 157.

When it was time to bowl, we struggled to secure a wicket until the 13th over. However, Marist's bowlers consistently built pressure and began taking wickets. Noah and Delwyn delivered many important dot balls, slowing the opposition's progress. With Queanbeyan needing 11 runs from the final over, Nate bowled skillfully. It all came down to the last ball, with Queanbeyan needing a six to win. They failed to hit the boundary, and Marist came out victorious, securing their spot in the grand final next Sunday. The team's overall performance was very good, with Noah standing out for his contributions with both the bat and the ball.
