A warm morning at Deakin for the semi final against Eddies. Our wonderful captain, Lachie, won the toss and elected to bat. After a quick team talk, Milan and Shourik took to the field as our opening batsman putting on a solid performance, getting through the first 5 overs unscathed. A great confidence builder for the rest of the line up. Noah and Will had an impressive innings both getting 27 valuable runs each for the team. The last ball of the innings saw Joel and Aiden make 5 runs, an aweome way to end the innings.

 As always the Midnight's bowling and feilding was exceptional. With only two runs conceeded in the first 4 overs, it was a great start. Josh took the first wicket brining up his 10th wicket for the season, thanks to a brilliant catch by Lachie.

 Wickets continued to fall at a steady rate with the spinners Finn, Aiden and Isaac taking 5 wickets between them, with catches taken by Josh, Will and Joel and our first LBW of the season. Eli claimed a great wicket on his last over of the day.

 Another wonderful team performance, bring on the Grand Final on Sunday against Bunyips, if the boys play like they played on Sunday they will be hard to beat.
