End of Season Club Awards 

Each season the Marist Cricket community recognises players and members who have made a significant contribution to cricket and to the Club, including outstanding on-field performance. Club Awards are selected or endorsed by the Club President, relevant Committee Members, Coaches and/or College staff.

Club members are invited to nominate for Marist Cricket Member or relevant Cricket ACT Awards.
Only Coaches and Managers may nominate for Player Awards.
The Committee will review nominations and determine submissions to the relevant Cricket ACT Award categories.

Award descriptions are listed below. Please complete and submit the form to lodge your nomination.
 
To allow time to reviewing, decision‑making and engraving before Presentation Night, nominations must be submitted by Monday 16 March.
 
As you select options, the form will display the fields relevant to your nomination.

MARIST CRICKET MEMBER AWARDS

NOMINATION BY CLUB MEMBERS IS WELCOMED


Coach of the Season (new in 2026) – Awarded to a coach who demonstrates strong leadership, consistent commitment, and a clear focus on developing players, building team culture, and contributing to the club.


President’s Award – Awarded by the Club President to a community member who has provided outstanding service to Marist Cricket during the season.


Life Membership – Awarded after special consideration for outstanding service to Marist Cricket over an extended period. Nominations are welcomed but not necessarily awarded.


                                        

MARIST CRICKET PLAYER AWARDS

NOMINATION BY COACH OR MANAGER ONLY


Cricketer of the Year (per Stage). Awarded to players who have excelled in performance and impact, sportsmanship, commitment, and/or service within their Stage. Typically, but not restricted to a Division 1 player.

  • Senior Cricketer of the Year

  • Stage 1

  • Stage 2

  • Stage 3

Stage awards have replaced Junior School and Junior Cricketer awards


Emerging Batter - A player who has shown outstanding batting performance over the season. Typically a non-Division 1 player.


Emerging Bowler - A player who has shown outstanding bowling performance over the season. Typically a non-Division 1 player.


Spirit of Cricket - A player who demonstrates healthy leadership in sportsmanship, fair play and respect encompassing the Marist College values.


                                        

CRICKET ACT AWARDS

NOMINATION BY CLUB MEMBERS IS WELCOMED


Cricket ACT Volunteer of the Year – recognises an individual who has made a significant contribution and shown leadership in supporting their club, association, program, or team to create positive community experiences.


Cricket ACT Young Leader of the Year – recognises a volunteer under 25 who positively influences others through their off‑field leadership.


The Committee will review and submit Cricket ACT Award nominations, this will include relevant Player and Member nominations for other potential submission to the appropriate CACT categories.
