REGISTRATION

 2025 - 2026 SEASON

REGISTRATION
INFORMATION

The Marist College Canberra Cricket Club exists to provide an effective cricket support infrastructure for Marist students to play cricket and develop their cricket skills and interest in the game.

Any current or enrolled student is invited to register and play for the club. We encourage boys that have been formally offered a position at Marist for the following year (including current Year 3 and 6 students) to join.

As our Year 12 boys finish school mid cricket season, they’re not able to play for the Club. We do invite them to stay involved by supporting our junior players—whether through pre-season activities, training sessions, or coaching roles. It’s a great way to build leadership skills and looks great on a resume.

STAGES

The Cricket ACT pathways program focusses on enjoyment and engagement, developing player's skills over a two year or more age bracket.

Marist does not enter into the Cricket Blast Program, all Under 10 enrolled or current students will be placed in Stage 1and will be given extra support if needed.

Boys are placed in the stage that matches their age as of 1 September (not 1 January).  Use the below table to help work out which stage a player should be in.   The Marist Registration Form for each season will also include the year a player was born to identify their Stage for that season.

FEE STRUCTURE

2025/26 season fees are:

  • Single player registration is $245

  • Sibling discounted registration is $195

  • Additional sibling discounted registration is $160

All registration fees are inclusive of the $42.00 Cricket ACT junior affiliation Fee and $17.45 National cricket fee and player insurance.

*Season fees have had a slight 3% increase to reflect current operating costs and our facilities refresh.

PLAYING FOR A SENIOR OR SECONDARY CLUB

Those boys planning on playing for a senior club beyond Marist this season, please register with Marist first and then  request a permit to play at the second club. Cricket ACT requests that players register at junior clubs first, and then when registering with your second club in PlayHQ, select request a Permit. DO NOT request a transfer, this will cancel your registration with Marist and you will not be able to be assigned to a team.  You can also request that your secondary Club submit a permit on your behalf.
