It was a beautiful day at Curtin for a cricket match. Marist Blue vs Eastlake Gryphons, the captains Mitch and Will won the toss and chose to bowl first. The boys started with some great bowling especially from Mitch 2/11 (3) Sam 1/11 (3) and Will 1/16 (3). Shourik had some great efforts in the field but couldn't quite get the catch he was hoping for. However Ben did manage to get a great catch in the field and when Sam was bowling he took a cracker of a catch when the ball fired back at him and he held on! They went in to bat and Darcy, Sam and Yash all managed to retire. There was great batting all around but Yash with 24 runs and Sam with 37 runs really stand out. with 8 runs left to get the last batters Darcy and Yash went for a run and unfortunately got run out. Although the boys lost they still had a great time and everyone tried really hard. Signed by Mitch
