The Marist Heat and Strikers faced off on a cold evening at Pearce Neighbourhood oval.

Heat won the toss and elected to field first, setting the tone early .

The Strikers put in a solid batting effort overall, with James R and Doug both scoring six runs, and Jack and Austin adding two runs each.

After the first innings, the Strikers refuelled with pizza, before heading to the field.

The strikers shared wickets across the team—Jack, James R, James P, Austin, and Ahn all claimed key wickets. In the field, James R and Doug both claimed run outs.

Overall the Strikers produced their best fielding performance of the season, keeping the pressure on throughout.

Player of the Match went to James R for his outstanding all round performance and contribution .
