It was a beautiful, balmy autumn night to finish off the season for Marist Indigo. WCMCC Gold won the toss and elected to bat first. Their batters started strongly before Indigo found their rhythm in the sixth over, with Cooper and Will combining for a great delivery and catch to claim Indigo’s first wicket.

The boys continued their spark in the field, taking six great catches during the innings. Will, Jarvis and Cooper all contributed, including three catches from excellent deliveries by Lawrence as he picked up his first wickets for the year. Lachlan provided the final wicket with a sharp run-out.

Indigo entered the second innings calm and composed, chasing a target of 118 for the win. Solid performances from Jarvis 16* (25), Will 28 (retired), Cooper 24 (retired) and Lachlan 20* (13) saw the boys chase down the total in the fifteenth over.

A great way to finish the season for Indigo, ending with an outstanding record of 13 wins and just 1 loss.
