It was a cracking effort from the Marist Light Stage 2 boys in their first game of the season! In a nail-biting contest against Ginninderra, the team chased down the target of 56 to secure a two-run victory with 2 wickets in hand.

The boys kept things tight in the bowling and made every run hard to come by. Milos (1), Henry (3) and Julian (1) all chipped in with wickets. Sterling and Vihaan also showed great awareness with a run-out apiece. The bowlers did their job by creating opportunities, and the fielders made sure those chances counted — a terrific team effort!

With contributions right throughout the batting order, Lachlan top-scored with a composed 13 off 30 balls before retiring not out. The boys showed determination, teamwork and plenty of grit when it mattered most. There were contributions across the team, some excellent fielding and a finish that certainly kept everyone on their toes. Well done, boys.
