Navy won the toss and chose to bat. Facing some tricky bowling, our batters showed great determination and patience while finding their rhythm. Some smart running took advantage of missed overthrows, though a few communication mix-ups led to run outs along the way. We even witnessed some summer cricket-viewing inspo, with Sebastian ramping the ball over this head.

After the innings break, Navy took to the field with loads of energy and enthusiasm, ready to win back those lost runs. The fielding effort was outstanding, with excellent backing up, quick hands behind the stumps, and some fantastic catches taken around the ground. Our bowlers also had several near caught-and-bowled chances — just missing out — but the effort and intent were clear to see.

A strong team performance full of energy, teamwork, and positivity. The team is looking forward to finishing the season on a high with more great displays of cricket!
