After winning the toss and electing to bowl, Navy were keen to get things going so they didn't have to be out in the unbearable heat longer than they needed to. The bowling from the side was great, considering the break over the holidays. The team was great in the field and backing up when required. 13 wickets were taken in the first innings, which gave the boys a good lead in the second innings.

The boys took well to the bat. Striking the ball when they could. Unfortunately, they faced a lot of wides and no balls, which couldn't eventuate into runs. What they could hit, they did. Several 4's were driven to the boundary in fine form. With great running between the wickets, the boys took it in their stride to claim a 120-run victory in such difficult conditions. A lot of red faces were to be seen at the end, which showed how much effort they truly put in.
