To open the season, Marist S3 Navy played at Garran Oval against Yerrabi. Marist lost the toss and started by bowling first. Yerrabi had a fast start, hitting boundaries and finding gaps in the field. However, Marist regained some momentum by taking two wickets in one over. After the drinks break, Yerrabi’s batsmen formed a strong partnership for the remainder of their innings.

In the second innings, Marist had a shaky start, losing two early wickets in the first two overs. Unfortunately, they could not recover from this setback and were bowled out for a total of 92 runs.
