After a foggy start in Googong, both the sun and the cricket came out in full force! Spectators were treated to a cracker of a match.

Marist won the toss and elected to bowl. A quick outfield helped Queanbeyan post some early runs, but the boys tightened up beautifully - sharp fielding and a fired-up bowling attack swung the momentum our way, with the eighth wicket falling in the 26th over.

Queanbeyan’s quicks celebrated early when Marist’s chase began, but an heroic near half century from wicketkeeper Will Costigan turned the tide. Supported brilliantly by Isaac Swan and Evander Jose, Marist chased down the total with just six balls to spare.

A huge team effort where belief never wavered. Well done, boys!
