After being sent into bat under cool and cloudy skies,  the Royals worked as a team to build a solid total of 162. The incredibly slow outfield made our running between wickets critical for a reaching a good total, with the boys making clear and sensible calls to keep the total growing. Ned, Hunter, Jobe, Chip, Will, Harry and Tom all contributed runs, with Harry top scoring for the day on 23 not out. Also ending the innings not out were Ned, Will and Tom.

Yet again our bowling was excellent, with consistent lines and lengths creating pressure throughout the Ravens innings.  Harvey, Hunter, Angad, Dimitri, Jobe and Harry all took wickets. Hunter and Harry both took 2/4 off 2 overs to be the bowlers of the day.

Another great team effort against the Ravens, setting the team up well for our next Tuesday game against Marist Sky.
