Impressive performance from the boys to earn the win against ladder-leading WCMCC Gold. The team came under pressure in both innings, but dug deep and worked together to rise to the challenge.

A notable batting partnership from Hunter (38) and Angad (36*) displayed some really sensible batting to wrest back momentum and help us to a competitive score, along with valuable contributions from Chip, Will, Harvey and Harry.

Early wickets from Will and Harvey put WCMCC Gold under pressure, aided by great fielding - Harry's diving catch was especially spectacular. While WCMCC Gold steadied the ship and appeared to be closing in comfortably on the target, a wicket from Tom broke the key partnership and the Royals rallied to finish the game off with wickets to Dimitri, Ned, Jobe and Will (who finished with 3/7 to back up 4/5 on Tuesday night).

A solid team contribution, and importantly we held our catches. Well done boys!
