A great team performance this morning to send the Royals into the Grand Final!

 

Chip continued his great form with an impressive 59* to anchor the batting innings. He was ably supported by Jobe (19), Angad (19) and Ned M (21). The last partnership between Jobe and Chip was especially important in helping the team reach a defendable total.

 

In the field, an outstanding caught and bowled from Dimitri, sharp catches from Ned S and Hunter and a brilliant stumping from Ned M made a huge difference. Ned M's keeping was excellent, with no byes getting past him until the 19th over. Some tight bowling across the board built pressure on Sky, aided by great field placement (well done to captain Will), led to a steady fall of wickets. Well done to Ned S (2/3) and Hunter (2/6) getting two wickets each, with singles to Harvey (1/10), Jobe (1/9), Dimitri (1/12) and Angad (1/10).
