A tough contest on a challenging field but the boys showed tremendous fight right to the end. With another 20 runs or an early breakthrough, the result could easily have gone our way.

Runs were hard to come by but Charlie provided some much needed power hitting with a valuable 25, supported by Ned and Will, who worked the ball into the gaps to keep the scoreboard ticking over.

The boys bowling and fielding effort was outstanding. Sam and Will built early pressure, and a brilliant catch by Noah helped put us on top. The intensity in the field was excellent, and despite a couple of tough chances going down, the boys continued to fight back. Will, Sam, Cholan, Charlie and Ned all picked up wickets, while Noah and Ethan took great catches. Jobe and Ryan bowled tightly too, making scoring difficult.

The boys showed tremendous fighting spirit, staying positive and battling right to the final ball. Despite a challenge game, they never gave up, and kept themselves in the contest until the end. A fantastic display of resilience, teamwork and determination.
