Marist Sapphire started strongly with the ball, delivering a disciplined and attacking performance. Captain Jack was the standout, producing a flawless spell of 2 overs, 2 wickets for no runs—an economy rate of 0.00 that completely stifled the opposition. His control and wicket-taking ability set the tone early.

Backing him up, Benji bowled brilliantly with 2 overs, 1 maiden, 1 wicket for just 2 runs, while Rory Carey chipped in with 1 wicket for 2 runs from his single over. Eddie also contributed with 1 wicket for 6 runs in 2 overs, and Ashton Dempsey kept things tight conceding only 7 runs from 2 overs. Fielding was sharp, with three catches taken—one each by Jack, Eddie and Ash, and Joe showed commitment and alertness in the field to snare a runout.

With the bat, Marist Sapphire posted 4/85 in 13.1 overs, anchored by Eddie's commanding 27 off 20 balls (five boundaries, SR 135.00). Joe got us off to a good start with his 7, Henry (11 off 20) and Tomoki (8 off 20) provided stability, while late contributions from Max(2)* and Benji (4*) got us over the line.
