Marist Sapphire were back this week to face Wests S2 - Wild Wests at their home ground in Kaleen.

Sapphires played stong in the first innings with a confident catch by Joseph Walshe (bowled by Hamish Carling) and two spectacular wickets falling bowled by Benjamin Fearn.

Notable mention to Edward Tunningley who smashed out a number of 4s, scoring the teams highest runs for the match at 24.

Despite the defeat this week, every player on Marist Sapphire team, as always, played fair and displayed true sportsmanship. Keep up the good work boys.
