it was though playing conditions in the heat on Friday and the boys were certainly up against it with a Magpies outfit which was just a bit more advanced in their cricketing journey. The Marist boys deserve full credit for playing their hearts out and behaving like gentlemen the whole way through.

There were some great notable achievements with some outstanding fielding stemming the haemorraging of runs, some great running between wickets and a screamer of a catch by Jimmy at wicky off a great bowl from Tom.

The boys can be proud of their efforts and take away some good learnings from the match as they head into their final two games.
