Stage 1 Friday
Marist Hurricanes
Marist Hurricanes (138) defeated Eastlake Parrots (100)
On an unexpectedly fine Friday evening with the anticipated rain holding off, we saw Marist Hurricanes taking on Eastlake Parrots at Narrabundah oval. Oliver and Austin opened the bating for the Hurricanes, with Oliver making the highest score getting 18 runs. This was followed by Noah who also had a great batting performance getting a 4 through fine leg, and Austin who had a return to the crease to continue his impressive innings.
Re-taking the field, we saw Kanoa and Fletcher have a solid performance behind the stumps, and the fall of lots of wickets. Oliver took an impressive 4 wickets, followed by Harry with three wickets including an imposing caught and bowled. Fletcher and Noah took one wicket a piece to round out a great innings. This led to a solid 38 run win for our boys.
Have a great Christmas and safe holiday break, and look forward to seeing what the Hurricanes get up to in their games next year.
