Marist Cobalt secured victory over Radford Falcons on Saturday morning, chasing down a modest target after an excellent bowling performance set up the match. After winning the toss and electing to bat, Radford were kept under constant pressure by a disciplined Marist attack and were dismissed for 69 in 18.4 overs. Oscar Moore was outstanding with the ball, claiming 2/4 from 3 overs, while Saxon Owens-McVie (2/3) and Joshua Moody (2 wickets) also made key breakthroughs. James Corson chipped in taking 1/2, as wickets fell regularly.

In reply, Marist’s chase was briefly unsettled by a flurry of early wickets, but calm heads prevailed. Thomas Orton provided early momentum with 18, before captain Alex Moore (22 off 21 balls) anchored the innings with confidence and composure. He was well supported by Henry Platt (9), and the pair guided Marist to 70 in 16 overs. Well done Marist Cobalt!
