This week Marist Indigo faced up against Burgmann at their home field. Lachlan M and Lawrence opened the batting and set the tone putting on a 54 run partnership with an entertaining 43 not out from Lachlan including seven 4’s. The middle order followed keeping up the impressive team effort with 32 from Saxon, a high score of 48 from Will (including seven 4’s), 42 from Noah and 31 from Jarvis. With no wickets and a team keen to crack the 300 ;) we finished on an all time high of 298!

In the bowling wickets fell quickly with Noah kicking us off with a runout, followed by Will who was on fire, taking three wickets in two overs, backed up by a wicket from Ben. The team also displayed some impressive fielding with Saxon claiming two runouts and Jarvis and Lachlan M showing off their sticky digits with a catch each.
