Marist Sapphire won the toss and elected to send Marist Indigo into bat first. Fill ins Neil and Ethan joined in and helped the team massively Taking some wickets and great catches. In the batting Jarvis,Ethan and Noah top scored with plenty of runs each. In Noahs first game of the season he played exceptional retiring and coming back in scoring 33. Jarvis came out smashing balls while also retiring with a solid score of 21 with four 4s. Ethan while playing up a grade, batted really well scoring 27 sadly getting run out 2 balls before retiring.

In the bowling Saxon came out firing getting two wickets straight ending in a near hattrick, by the end of the spell Saxon aquired one more wicket. Noah also picked up a wicket late in his over creating more spark for the team. Neil had a great 2 overs taking 1 wicket and only having 3 runs put on him with the wicket following a great catch from Ethan. In Saxon's last over he picked up one last wicket with his spell ending on a great 4 for 4 from 3 overs being one of the best out there on the day. Huge thanks to Neil and Ethan for helping us.
