Light are finals bound in both the T20 and One Day games wIth a top of the Table T20 Final locked in on Tuesday. After a defeat the weekend before, Marist Light bounced back with a vengance posting our highest score for the year on an extremely slow outfield. The boys showed patience, sensational running and agression when needed with the bat, and terrific bowling and hunger in the field making runs difficult frustrating Radford.

Light lost the toss and were sent into bat with Arjun and Christian going to work as openers, who were patient and clinical, before Christian popped one up in the 4th over on a pitch that was slow and dull so timing was difficult to navigate. WIlson came in to bat and he and Arjun hit valuable runs including some sensational boundaries before Arjun was beaten by a heavily moving ball in the 9th.

Steve was in next, who really doesn't care much for a slow outfield, was unbelieveable who hit boundary after boundary, on virtually every second ball hitting 12 boundaries and 2 sixes in his 30 balls finishing on 60 before retiring. It didn't matter where Radford put fielders.

Noah and Wilson were victims of the slower pitch early on, when Ernest came in after Steve's retirement and Will Frost joined him put on a sensational partnership hitting 26 & 28 respectively without losing their wickets.

Saurav was in next who was equally as excellent, and was so damaging hitting 22 off 17 also retiring. Luckily for Radford, Steve came back in after Vivaan was dismissed for only the last 3 balls of the match but still added 10 runs including a six off the last ball of the match with him finishing with 70 (33) Not out.

Light's Bowling was just as deadly, with Will hitting the stumps with his first ball of the match. Great catches as well by Noah behind the stumps, Ernest with one of the catches of the year off a hard, low flying pull shot, And Christian as well and great run out combinations by Christian, Vivaan, Sourav and Wilson, all who didn't panic, and took the bails off when it mattered.

Light's pressure in the field and sensational bowling only 2W and 3B all game), made it extremely difficult to score runs, keeping singles to a minimum with only 2 of Radford's batters making double figures, with Arjun taking the last wicket in the 13th over against a very good side.
