After winning the tosss once again Navy decided to bat. They entered the field confident facing some extremely good bowling, one player getting a hat trick. They did well to defend their crease and took advantage of some sneaky runs. The tale order lifted the teams score with some great batting by Liam and Jamie. The weather was not going to hold the boys back. Intermittent showers did not stop play and they were keen to get into the field. The team did a good job in the field with some great wickets, catches and a run out. Unfortunately, not enough wickets were taken by Marist to compete with he total wickets taken from Eastlake. Even with some very tight and tidy bowling, the team just could not get over the line. However, considering the weather, everyone was grateful to be able to play this weekend.
