Playing at Gordon against Tuggeranong, Marist won the toss and elected to bat first on a pretty slick wicket.

Marist’s batting was solid despite the slippery, tricky conditions and everyone did well just to get bat on ball. Ethan and Tom played their best innings for the year and the team set an impressive total for Tuggeranong to chase.

Marist had a strong bowling attack, it was a really disciplined bowling performance. Everyone had good line and nice full length which led to Ethan and Connor taking wickets and Lewis, Connor and Tom all bowling maiden overs.

Marist’s energy was up and it stayed up through the innings, this contributed to the best fielding performance of the year with run outs everywhere (a total of 6) - Sam and Tom each took a few run outs each.

It was a really solid performance and the boys should be very proud of themselves.
