Marist went in to bat and put in their best innings of the season. This was capped by 2 superb knocks from both Lachlan Dean and Xander Hardy, supported by solid contributions from across the board.

Marist followed up with fantastic bowling and great fielding. Xander let the way with 2 wickets while both Lachlan Power and Maxton Bond had wicket-maiden overs. The boys were sharp.in the field with 2 run outs (Lachlan Power and Flynn McDonald), and 3 catches, including a caught and bowled each by Matthew Cutting and Lachlan Power as well as a nice catch from Maxton.
