Congratulations to our grand finalists last Saturday, with 3 wins to Stage 1 Royal, Stage 1 Navy and Stage 2 Royal and a valiant effort by Runners up Stage 2 Light.
Player of the Week honours are shared by three players this week for key roles in winning their grand finals:
Harrison McEwan (Stage 1 Navy) with 29 off 15 deliveries, 2/19 and a catch
Charlie Johnston (Stage 1 Royal) with 32 off 15 deliveries
Uvindu Weerasinghe Stage 2 Royal) with 31 not out off 24 deliveries, 2/3 and a catch.
The Club Presentation Night is this Monday 24 March starting at Marcellin Hall. Be there by 5:30. Boys to wear their summer uniforms.
WhatsApp cleanup
At the end of the season all members will be removed from their WhatsApp team groups. As many cricket team names are recycled each season, the group will remain and the content will be deleted. We recommend that all club members remain part of the WhatsApp community by remaining in the Announcement and General groups. If you have not already done so please add yourselves to these groups before the end of the season. This will ensure that communication if needed can be shared during winter and will allow for easier allocation to your son's team group next season.
If you don't add yourself before your Team chat is cleanup you will need to request access and this may not be actioned until next season.
